SAGE REFERENCE TITLES RECEIVE PRESTIGIOUS AWARDSDartmouth Medal and RUSA honours receivedLos Angeles, London, New Delhi, Singapore and Washington DC(2 February 2010)—Three more SAGE Reference titles have recently won prestigious awards spotlighting their significance in the market as well as their excellence in writing, editing, compiling and publishing. One work earned an Honourable Mention from the esteemed Dartmouth Medal Award; the other two earned RUSA Outstanding Reference Awards.
ALA’s Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) annually presents the Outstanding Reference Sources Award, which recognizes the best reference publications for small and medium-sized libraries. An annotated list of these outstanding reference works is published each year in the May issue of American Libraries, is included in Reference & User Services Quarterly, (RUSA’s reference journal), and is published on the RUSA website. The two SAGE titles honoured by RUSA are:
