Journal Of Asthma And Allergy EducatorsNEW JOURNAL LAUNCHED BY SAGE AND THE ASSOCIATION OF ASTHMA EDUCATORSLos Angeles, London, New Delhi, Singapore and Washington DC (8 October 2009) —The Journal of Asthma & Allergy Educators (JAAE) is a new bimonthly journal launching in February 2010 by SAGE, the world’s leading independent academic and professional publisher. The official journal of the Association of Asthma Educators (AAE), the Journal of Asthma & Allergy Educators will publish original clinical articles for the multidisciplinary audience of health professionals involved in the care and education of asthma and allergy patients and their families. "Asthma education is an important component of asthma care and I am very pleased there will soon be a journal devoted to asthma and allergy patient education and management," said Tina Tolomeo, DNP, the journal’s founding editor. "The AAE has done an exceptional job at keeping its members informed about the latest findings and changes in asthma education. However, the time has arrived to increase the scope and distribution of asthma and allergy education literature to all members of the asthma education and management community." The journal will provide an avenue for asthma educators to share the significant contributions they make in the lives of patients with asthma and allergies. It will also serve as a source for the latest evidence-based practice in the field of asthma and allergy education.
