SAGE Content is Highly Ranked in the Thomson Scientific Journal Citation Reports ®

Between 2001 and 2007, SAGE has consistently increased its JCR coverage, with the number of ranked journals increasing by 55% in the Social Sciences edition and 160% in the Science edition. Over half (57%) of SAGE's ranked journals increased their Impact Factors in 2007.

Continued Strengths in Social Science
As the world's leading independent Social Science publisher, SAGE now publishes 10% of the journals included in the Social Science Edition of the JCR and remains market leader in Sociology, Criminology, Political Science, Urban Studies, and Communication by number of ranked titles. Highlights include over 20 journals in the top five of their category, of which three (Child Maltreatment, The Counseling Psychologist and Social Studies of Science) are ranked number one in their category.
