Narrative Soundings - CALL FOR PAPERS
This internationally peer-reviewed journal promotes the dissemination and discussion of high quality research in music and music education. The journal encourages the interrogation and development of a range of research methodologies and their application to diverse topics in music education theory and practice
The journal covers a wide range of topics across all areas of music education, and a separate "Perspectives in Music Education Research" section provides a forum for researchers to discuss topics of special interest and to debate key issues in the profession.
SAGE is pleased to announce that from 2008 Psychology of Music (POM) and Research Studies in Music Education (RSME) are sold together as a joint institutional subscription. Both journals are owned by the Society for Education, Music and Psychology Research (SEMPRE). RSME is a recent acquisition by the society and SEMPRE believes that as the journals are linked in subject matter the content of both are relevant to music psychologists and music educators alike. Music and psychology departments benefit from having the additional content provided by both journals.
Both POM and RSME retain their own title and ISSN. The publication schedule of RSME changed in 2008 to April and October to coincide with the POM publication schedule.
The subscription to the journals is available in the usual 3 SAGE subscription models: print and online combined, print only, and e-access only. The SAGE institutional e-access only subscriptions are discounted further to £261/US$470 rate. Individual subscribers can purchase the journals separately in print only.
