Critical Social Policy provides an international forum for advocacy, analysis and debate on social policy issues. It aims to develop an understanding of welfare from socialist, feminist, anti-racist and radical perspectives.

Encouraging contributions from a variety of perspectives and experiences, the journal is tailored to those who are actively involved in welfare issues through pressure groups, consumer groups and community action, practitioners and workers in statutory and voluntary agencies, as well as teachers and researchers in social welfare issues and social policy.
