Notes for Contributors
The Editors welcome the submission of manuscripts as main articles, discussion pieces, review articles or research notes. All material must be original, must not have appeared elsewhere, and must not be submitted for publication elsewhere while under consideration by Millennium. The approximate length required for main articles is 7,000-9,000 words (including footnotes but excluding an abstract of up to 150 words and up to six keywords), for discussion pieces and research notes 5,000 words, and for review articles 3,000-4,000 words. Review articles should discuss three to five recently published books on related subjects.
Manuscript submission
Millennium has a fully web-based system for the submission and review of manuscripts.
All submissions should be made online at the Millennium SAGETRACK website .
From 16 June, 2011, Millennium: Journal of International Studies will enforce new guidelines for contributors of Book Review essays. These guidelines do not apply to the contributors, who had a review request accepted and/or submitted before 16 June, 2011. Click on this link for more information:

SAGE Choice and Open Access
If you or your funder wish your article to be freely available online to non subscribers immediately upon publication (gold open access), you can opt for it to be included in SAGE Choice, subject to payment of a publication fee. The manuscript submission and peer review procedure is unchanged. On acceptance of your article, you will be asked to let SAGE know directly if you are choosing SAGE Choice.
