SAGE's prestigious and highly cited journals are available electronically on the award-winning SAGE Journals Online (SJO) platform powered by HighWire.
Open Access and Author Archiving
All authors may post the version of their article that they submitted to the journal (pre-peer-review) on any repository or website. The version of the article that was accepted for publication (post-peer-review) may be deposited in any non-commercial repository or website, for example an institutional repository, a personal website or subject repository (e.g. PubMedCentral) 12 months after publication.
SAGE is additionally active in supporting Open Access publishing options.
In our Science, Technology and Medical (STM) journals we offer SAGE Choice where authors can choose to publish on an OA (author pays) basis within traditional journals enabling articles to be then free for anyone to read.
SAGE also publishes SAGE Open, the first Open Access journal spanning across the social and behavioral sciences and humanities. SAGE Open publishes peer-reviewed, original research and review articles in an interactive, open access format. Articles may span the full spectrum of the social and behavioral sciences and the humanities.
SAGE Journals in the 2010 Journal Citation Reports®
SAGE is pleased to announce 27% growth in the number of titles receiving Impact Factors with 385 journals now indexed in the latest 2010 Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports® (Thomson Reuters, 2011). 54 SAGE journals received their first Impact Factor with the 2010 report.
