SAGE AND CHONGQING UNIVERSITY PRESS SIGN STRATEGIC CO-OPERATION AGREEMENTLos Angeles, CA (17th April, 2012) – SAGE and Chongqing University Press (CQUP) today signed a strategic co-operation agreement at The London Book Fair. The agreement sees CQUP translating and bringing 60 co-branded research methods titles to the Chinese market between now and 2015. SAGE and CQUP will be working together to support the scholarly development of research methods in China including workshops and seminars run in conjunction with Chongqing University. “We are delighted that this new agreement takes our relationship with CQUP, who we have already published 40 titles with, to the next level,” said Stephen Barr, President, SAGE International. “SAGE is proud to be the world’s leading research methods publisher, and we are thrilled that this new partnership with CQUP will bring important research methods titles to the wider academic community in China.” Chen Xiaoyang, editor-in-chief of CQUP said, "SAGE is one of our best academic publishing partners in the world. Together with SAGE, we have brought a very good influence in China's academic field, and we have organized a group of prestigious translators who are also outstanding scholars in social science area.
